What is an annotated bibliography?

An annotated bibliography is a list of sources that you are considering using in your project, along with a small paragraph below each source including the following:

  • Brief summary of the content of the source
  • Assessment of the source- why is this a credible source to use?
  • Why this source will/could be useful for your essay
