Citation Guides by Style
Generally, scientists use APA style to cite their sources. Please check with your teacher to see which style he/she prefers for you to use!

This database has an entire section called "Biomes of the Earth," so it is very useful for finding information about your specific biome.
Use this database to gain a general understanding of your biome, as well as locate a variety of pictures on your topic.

EbscoHost is a hosting site for multiple databases that include periodicals, eBooks, academic journals, images, etc. Once you click on the link, select the database you want to use and read the description.
Great resource for scientific research and reports.
Remember, you must cite an image just as you would cite any written content. Images are also intellectual property, so please cite them appropriately.
You cannot use Google Images as the citation for your image. You must go to the original location of the image, if you use a Google Search to locate a variety of images.
You can use Google Advanced to find images that have a Creative Commons license. Go down to "usage rights" and select free to use or share.
